LETTER FROM CARMEL CLAY PARKS & RECREATION Mar 7, 2020

You’ve probably heard that coronavirus (COVID-19) is receiving a lot of
attention in the news, and there is now a confirmed case in Marion County.

We are committed to the health and safety of our members and participants
and wanted to let you know that we are closely monitoring this situation. We
have activated enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures in our
facilities. Currently, our professional cleaning service and custodial staff
are focusing extra attention on sanitizing high traffic areas and commonly
used surfaces throughout the day, as well as deep cleaning each night.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health
Organization (WHO) have provided some preventative measures you can take as
well.

* Wash hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds. If soap
and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at
least 60% alcohol.

* Cover coughs and sneezes with tissues or by coughing into the inside
of the elbow. Throw used tissues away in the trash.

* Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

* Stay away from people who are sick or not feeling well and avoid
close contact with others through hugging, kissing or shaking hands.

* Disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects such as toys and
doorknobs.

* Seek assistance from a health professional if you see or experience
symptoms that cause concern.

We also recommend:

* Stay home if you have a fever or flu-like symptoms remain home until
“fever free” for 24 hours. Fever free is considered having a temperature of
less than 100° without medication for 24 hours. We know getting your
workouts in are important, but it can wait.

* Clean your mats and wipe down equipment before and after use while
attending fitness classes or spaces. There are wipes in the Fitness Center
and within our fitness studios for you to use.

* Wash hands or use sanitizer before or after your workout. Stop by
any desk for sanitizer.

* Bring your own towel or water bottle.
