Aria Diagnostics to Expand, Add New Test Sites

Carmel-based Aria Diagnostic Laboratories has announced it is expanding its
operations to accommodate increased COVID-19 lab and testing kit assembly.
The company says the expansion will allow for the production of 400,000 test
kits per week and add 50 jobs for processing and packaging.

Aria says it has leased 16,000-square-feet of space across the street from
its current location in the Northwest Technology Business Park.

“The demand for tests is tremendous, and we have refined the logistics and
processing to be extremely efficient so we can provide the most affordable,
accessible and accurate tests to individuals, cities, states and companies,”
said Zak Khan, co-founder of Aria Diagnostic Laboratories.

Aria says it is opening two additional test sites in Indianapolis and
Greenwood. The company says tests will be administered by appointment only
at the following locations:

Community Church of Greenwood
Mon – Thur: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Fri and Sat: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

St. Luke’s United Methodist in Indianapolis
Mon – Thur: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Fri and Sat: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Northview Church in Carmel
Mon – Thur: 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Fri and Sat: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

“A sample of your blood is taken and loaded into a special instrument that
detects whether IgG antibodies to the SARS-Co-2 virus are present in the
blood sample. The instrument can provide up to 200 tests per hour,” said
Khan.

Aria says users can request a test online and set up a date and time to
visit one of the three locations. The medical staff will perform the nasal
swab collection while the patient remains in the car, and Aria says results
will be available within 72 hours.
