A Call for “Med Relief Donation to Wuhan, China”

20

As you may know, recently, Wuhan, a city with 11 million people in Central China, becomes the epicenter of an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a new coronavirus. As of February 1, death toll passes 250, with more than 10,000 infections confirmed in China. As the number of infections increase quickly, accounts are emerging of shortages of just about everything. No enough hospitals, no enough doctors, no enough rubber gloves and face masks…

What can we do? On January 25th, the Alumni Association of Tongji Medical University in Indiana, in collaboration with Hubei Association of Indiana, Indiana Chinese Medical Association, and Chinese community Church of Indianapolis, initiated a call to make donations to help fight against this devastating outbreak in Wuhan. The funds will be used to purchase medical supplies in the US and ship to Wuhan.
How can we donate:
• By Chase QuickPay through China Journal Indiana: indiana.wuhan@gmail.com; memo: ICMA Med Relief
• By Check: Payable to ICMA; Mailing Address: IAAT, P.O. Box 852, Carmel, IN 46082
• By PayPal: ICMAINDY@gmail.com

Please make sure to mark “ICMA Med Relief” in the memo for your donation.

Your donation receipt can be requested via indiana.wuhan@gmail.com. Information on the total amount of donation, purchased goods and relevant operational details will be disclosed.
United we stand! In a time of great need from Wuhan, let’s lend a hand and connect hearts!
